Healthy Bites Begin Early
The earlier we identify and address issues with your child’s bite or jaw development, the easier and more effective treatment can be. By catching orthodontic problems early, we can often correct them with less effort, less time, and less expense than if we wait until your child is older.
In many cases, early treatment can reduce or even eliminate the need for braces later on—or at least shorten the amount of time they need to be worn. This can lead to a more comfortable experience for your child and more manageable costs for your family.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children see an orthodontist by age seven, or sooner if a dentist spots any potential concerns. At this stage, your child may not need immediate treatment, but regular monitoring allows us to track development and intervene at just the right time, if needed.
With proactive care, we can help guide your child’s smile as they grow, ensuring the best possible results with the least amount of disruption to their daily life.
